Central Adriatic Ports Authority is partner of CRESPORT project, “Improving the Cyber REsilience and Security of Adriatic PORTs”, financed under the Italy-Croatia 2021-2027 programme and aims to guarantee to the ports of the area a more secure and resilient IT infrastructure.

The use of digital systems expose the ports' infrastructures to major risks and CRESPORT wants to avoid a cyber attack on Adriatic ports that could massively disrupt the supply chain and consequently the country's economy.

The pilot action implemented by Central Adriatic Ports Authority in CRESPORT includes activities related to cyber security such as carrying out penetration tests on the two WiFi networks of the Authority and the design of the data infrastructure necessary to ensure the connectivity of the system's ports by improving fiber optic networks.

The project is leaded by Port of Ravenna Authority and involves the following partners:

Central Adriatic Ports Authority (IT)

North Adriatic Sea Port Authority - Ports of Venice and Chioggia (IT)

Port Network of the Eastern Adriatic Sea (IT)

Port of Rijeka Authority (HR)

Port of Dubrovnik Authority (HR)

Port of Ploče Authority (HR)

Total duration of the project is 30 months, from 1st March 2024 to 31st August 2026, and its total budget is 2.409.862,00 €.

Central Adriatic Ports Authority budget amounts to 320.900,00 €.
